Your data,plainly.

What this website collects, what it stores on your device, and your rights under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.

01Who we are

This website is run for the campaign of Rt. Hon. Dr. David Emmanuel Ombugadu, PDP governorship candidate for Nasarawa State in 2027. The campaign is responsible for how personal data on this site is handled.

02What we collect today

Nothing that identifies you. There are no forms, accounts or newsletters on the site yet, and we do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or analytics.

03What is stored on your device

To make the site work well on your phone, a few things are saved in your browser. They stay on your device and are never sent to us:

  • your colour theme (dark, light or automatic);
  • how many times you have visited, and whether you dismissed the “install the app” suggestion;
  • an offline copy of the pages and the images you have viewed, so the site opens without a connection.

04Hosting and server logs

The site is hosted by Vercel. Like any web server, it receives technical information when your browser asks for a page: your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. This is used to deliver the site and protect it from abuse, is processed by Vercel on the campaign’s behalf, may be handled outside Nigeria, and is kept only for a short period under Vercel’s policies.

05Sharing and other websites

When you use a “Send on WhatsApp” or share button, your phone opens WhatsApp or its share menu; what you send is between you and that service. Links to INEC and other websites are governed by their own privacy policies.

06When we start collecting data

Volunteer sign-up and event registration are planned. Before they open we will update this notice to explain exactly what we collect, why, our lawful basis (your consent), who can see it and how long we keep it. We will never sell your personal data.

07Your rights

Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 you have the right to:

  • ask what personal data we hold about you and get a copy;
  • have it corrected or deleted;
  • withdraw consent or object to how it is used;
  • receive it in a portable format;
  • complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC).

08Changes to this notice

We will update this page when the site changes how it uses personal data, and change the date at the top.
